Classic Car Overview
1967 Plymouth Fury III - 318 V8
I purchased it less than a year ago but unexpectedly moved to California and is not optimal for what I need in LA.
PROS: The car is an absolute stunner, garage kept, drives and sounds great! Less than 1000 miles on the rebuild. I originally drove it from Austin to Oklahoma and was perfect. The previous owner did a lot of beauty work on the car and is very helpful- we are still in touch.
Things that were replaced by the previous owner. Armrests, door locks, ignition, ignition switch, starter relay, door clips, stereo, speakers, battery, sub/amp combination, custom floor mats, brakes were gone through-bled with New brake cylinders on each wheel, transmission rebuilt, horn relay replaced. The alternator and battery are new. A couple of headlights, and a few bulbs in the other areas. New LED lighting in the dash. And dash covered with a new final cover. AC will freeze you out and the stereo/phone hook-up sounds great. Body/lines are straight and no accidents.
I put on new 18inch wheels and tires, less than 100 miles on them.
The car comes with a bucket of matching paint for touch-ups and original wheels photographed in the trunk.
CONS: There is a leak- source unknown- in the engine bay, which caused water to pool in the floor pan. I only found this out after spraying the car in a car wash and noticing the wet carpet. I pulled it up and noticed the water pooling. After scraping away at the loose pan flakes, I found several holes. Floor pans online are easy and cheap to find (https://www.c2cfabrication.com/collections/plymouth-fury-parts/floor-pan) but will mostly pay for the labor work. I have not pulled up the driver-side carpet, however, there has been no leak on that side or cause for my concern. I haven't driven the car in rain or washed it from the top with a hose and have had no leaks inside the car since. Besides that, the power steering fluid has a slow leak which I'd add fluid every couple of weeks. The odometer works randomly but is inconsistent. MPH needle bounces a bit and isn't always accurate.
I am a very transparent seller and can answer any questions, send more pics if you like. Looking to sell ASAP. Pick up in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
